Nord Mini
- GSM-channel, two SIM-cards;
- Built-in GSM antenna, it is possible to connect an external one;
- 4 wired terminals, each of which can be configured as an open collector;
- Power adapter 12 V / 1 A;
- 3.7V Battery.
All the files required to update the firmware and configuration of the "Nord GSM Mini" are located at the web page Files to download. To connect the device to a computer, you will need a mini-USB cable.
Device setup is similar to Nord GSM settings .
Keyboard operation is described in a separate article.
To connect an external antenna, the device has a MMCX90 type connector. Details on how to connect a external antenna shown in the video.
Terminals
"12V" and "GND"
Terminals labeled "12V" and "GND" are used to connect the main power supply. The positive power adapter cable marked with a knot and red heat shrink must be connected to the terminal labeled “12V”, and the negative cable to the terminal labeled “GND”. The device provides protection against polarity reversal when connecting the main power supply.
«1WR» и «LED»
The terminal labeled “1WR” is used to connect the signal (DATA) cable of the ТМ-reader or wired temperature sensor.
«S_PWR» и «S_GND»
The terminals labeled “S_PWR” and “S_GND” are used to connect the power supply of wired security detectors, positive and negative cables, respectively. The power at these terminals is reserved by the battery installed in the device. The voltage at the “S_PWR” and “S_GND” terminals is 11.5 V. The rated current consumed by the load connected to these terminals should not exceed 150 mA.
«Z1»..«Z4»
The purpose of the terminals labeled "Z1" .. "Z4" is determined when configuring the device: each of them can be used either to connect the alarm terminal or as an open collector.
In order for the “Zx” terminal to be used to connect the alarm terminal, the terminal corresponding to the terminal number must be enabled in the device settings. The connection of alarm terminals without terminating resistors, with one or with two terminating resistors, is allowed. The number of terminating resistors is set when configuring each terminal. The values of resistors, as well as the scheme of their inclusion in the cable are the same as for the device «Nord GSM 5.2». The signal cable of the terminal must be connected to the “Zx” terminal, and the common cable of the terminal - to the “GND” terminal.
In order for the “Zx” terminal to be used as an open collector, the terminal corresponding to the terminal number must be enabled in the device settings. In this case, the open collector, the number of which corresponds to the terminal number, will be available when configuring automation actions. A positive load cable, the power of which will turn on when the open collector is closed, must be connected to the «S_PWR» terminal.
In the case when the backup of the load power connected to the open output is not required, the positive load cable can be connected to the “12V” terminal, but the total rated load consumption current should not exceed 400 mA.
The maximum switching current of each output is 300 mA.
Additionally
Allowable temperature range
The permissible temperature range for operation with the network adapter and the battery supplied with the product is from 0 ° C to + 50 ° C.
The permissible temperature range for operation with the external redundant power supply source (in case of lack of the battery supplied with the product) is from -20 ° C to + 50 ° C.
The state of the outputs of the device at power on
When the product is powered on, including when it is restored after the absence of main and backup power, there’s a possibility of closing of the universal outputs of the device for a time not exceeding 0.5 s.
This feature must be considered when connecting to the outputs of the device of executive automation devices.
Warning! The back panel of the device can not be removed completely, only the cover. Don’t break the casing :)
